Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference! In partnership with LSU Campus Life, we’re hosting a meal-packing event that’s perfect for family members of all ages, from 1 to 99, and all abilities. Our goal is to have 450 enthusiastic family members help us pack 100,000 meals for those in need. We’ll provide everything you need, from stylish hairnets to music that will keep the energy high as you pack meals with your loved ones. The meals you prepare will be distributed to our community partners, including the LSU Food Pantry, LSU Global Community Center, Second Harvest Food Bank (Lafayette), and Second Harvest Food Bank (New Orleans). 

Guests must pre-register in order to attend this event. Participants can sign up for one time slot. Limited space is available.

Guests may register for one time slot to participate in the Tigers Tackle Hunger: Family Weekend Service Project. 

• You must arrive on time for your registered time slot and stay for the entire duration of the event. No late arrivals will be accepted. 
• Only pre-registered participants will be able to participate in this event. 
• You must wear closed toe shoes. 
• If you wear your own hat, then no hairnet is needed. We will provide hairnets for those who need them. 
• No outside food or drinks are allowed in the Union Theater during this event.
