Join us for Family Weekend on Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4! All family members of LSU students are invited to campus for a weekend of activities, programs, and the chance to see the LSU Tigers take on the McNeese State Cowboys under the lights of Tiger Stadium. Family Weekend activities allow parents and families to reconnect with the university and enjoy the campus energy on game day. 

Each attendee must choose from the package options listed below: 

• Purple Package ($60)
• Gold Package ($90) - SOLD OUT** 

Purple Package: Individual family members will have access to Family Weekend signature events on Friday and Saturday. These events include the Bengal Block Party on Friday (no food included) and the Family Weekend Tailgate on Saturday (includes access to the all-you-care-to-eat buffet).

Gold Package: Individual family members will have access to Family Weekend signature events for the entire weekend. These events include the Bengal Block Party on Friday (no food included), the Family Weekend Tailgate on Saturday (includes access to the all-you-care-to-eat buffet), and Jazz Brunch on Sunday (includes access to the all-you-care-to-eat buffet). The two time slots for the Jazz Brunch on Sunday, October 4 are 9–10:30 AM and 12–1:30 PM.

Bengal Block Party
Friday, October 2

Join us for our signature event to officially kick off Family Weekend! There will be games, music, and plenty of fun for the whole family. Food trucks will be available to purchase snacks on your own. Registrants can also bring in outside food or beverages. No food is included in the cost of your registration. Our Bengal Block Party will take place outdoors, so please dress accordingly.

Family Weekend Tailgate
Saturday, October 3
2–5 p.m.
LSU Quad
*Must be registered for the Purple or Gold Package in order to attend.

Tailgating is an LSU Tradition! Join us as we tailgate in the Quad (*new location for 2026) with food, live music, special appearances, inflatables, a photo booth, face painting, and more! Look for our white tents, Family Weekend flags, and balloons. Even if you are not attending the football game, you are welcome to join the fun and attend the tailgate as long as you are pre-registered for the purple or gold package. Click here to view the menu.

Family Weekend Jazz Brunch
Sunday, October 4
Two time slots offered: 9–10:30 a.m. and 12–1:30 p.m.
Royal Cotillion Ballroom, LSU Student Union + The Club at Union Square
*Must be registered for the Gold Package in order to attend.
**This event typically sells out very quickly when priority registration opens.

Join us as we close out Family Weekend with an all-you-care-to-eat, southern-style brunch buffet, featuring live jazz music and door prizes. Click here to view the menu. A cash bar serving mimosas and Bloody Marys will be available. 

LSU Family Weekend 2026 t-shirts are available to purchase for the whole family via the registration form.

T-shirts will be available for pick-up during Family Weekend Check-In in the Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore on the second floor on:

• Friday, October 2  – 10 a.m.–7 p.m. 
• Saturday, October 3 – 11 a.m.–4 p.m.

Registration is required and non-refundable.

Please register and pay for all family members attending Family Weekend events, including your LSU student. Only registered family members will be allowed access to Family Weekend signature events.

There is no charge for children ages 5 and under to attend Family Weekend, but they must be listed on your registration form, so they will receive an access badge to enter the events.

All payments for LSU Family Weekend are made using a credit card on the registration form. There is a 5% processing fee on all transactions.

Registration for all families will close on Monday, September 21 at 4:30 p.m., or when maximum capacity is reached, whichever comes first. No late registrations will be accepted. On-site registration will not be available. 

Only families who register and pay for LSU Family Weekend will be eligible to purchase tickets to the LSU vs. McNeese football game via the Family Weekend allotment of tickets.

After you register and pay for you and your guests to attend Family Weekend (by purchasing the purple or gold package for each guest), you will receive a separate confirmation email with details about how to purchase football tickets.

Football tickets will be available to Family Weekend registrants on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Plan to purchase your football tickets as early as possible after you register for Family Weekend, since tickets are limited. 

• Lower Level – North End Zone (Sections 234–238): $58.24 per ticket – SOLD OUT 

• Lower Level – South End Zone (Sections 402–403): $81.29 per ticket – SOLD OUT 

• East Upper Deck (sections 630-633, and 638-643) = $12.97 per ticket

Football tickets in the lower level of Tiger Stadium sold out during priority registration for Family Association.

The number of football tickets you may purchase cannot exceed the number of family members registered and paid for Family Weekend. For example, if you register and pay for four family members to attend Family Weekend, you may purchase up to four football tickets through the Family Weekend ticket allotment.

If your LSU student has purchased a student ticket to the LSU vs. McNeese State football game, they can use that ticket to sit in the student section of Tiger Stadium, which is located in the North End Zone.
If you would like your LSU student to sit with your family during the game, you will need to purchase an additional football ticket for them through the Family Weekend ticket block. Your student's regular LSU student ticket cannot be used to sit with your Family Weekend ticket block.

Check-in for Family Weekend will be held on the second floor of the Barnes & Noble at LSU Bookstore on:

Thursday, October 1 from 3–6 p.m.
Friday, October 2 from 10 a.m.–7 p.m.
Saturday, October 3 from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. 

Upon checking in, you will receive:

• Access badge for each pre-registered guest in your group
• One clear bag per family (adheres to the Clear Bag Policy)
• Souvenirs
• Family Weekend 2026 T-Shirts (if you pre-ordered them)
• Family Association membership packet and card (if you are a new Family Association member who has not yet received those items yet)

Only one member of your group needs to check-in to pick-up the materials for all pre-registered family members. Check-in is required in order to receive the access badges for your family, which will grant you access to the signature events throughout Family Weekend. Each family member must wear their access badge to each of the Family Weekend signature events (Bengal Block Party on Friday, Tailgate on Saturday, and/or Jazz Brunch on Sunday) in order to participate.
